Your Llama Events account allows you to attend events, create your own events, and interact with other users on the platform. This section covers everything you need to know about creating and managing your account.

Creating an Account
Visit the platform
Go to www.llamaevents.com
Click Sign Up
Find the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner
Enter your details
Provide your email address and create a secure password
Verify your email
Click the verification link sent to your inbox
Sign In / Sign Out
To Sign In
- Click "Sign In" in the top right corner
- Enter your email and password
- Click "Sign In"
To Sign Out
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select "Sign Out" from the dropdown menu
Resetting Password
If you forget your password, you can reset it using the following steps:
On the sign-in page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email address
Look for the password reset link in your inbox (check spam folder too)
Click the link and create a new secure password
WARNING
Password reset links expire after 24 hours. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or request a new link.
Updating Your Profile
A complete profile helps you connect with other users and makes your events more discoverable. To update your profile:
Click your profile picture in the top right corner
Select "My Profile" from the dropdown
Click the "Edit Profile" button
Update your information and click "Save Changes"
Profile Elements
Your profile can include the following elements to make it more engaging and informative:
Profile Picture
Upload a square image of at least 400x400 pixels. This will be displayed as a circle on your profile.
Cover Image
A larger background image that appears at the top of your profile page. Recommended size is 1200x400 pixels.
Display Name
Your public name on the platform. This can be different from your username.
Username
A unique identifier used in URLs (e.g., llamaevents.com/user/your-username). Must be 3-30 characters and can only contain letters, numbers, and underscores.
Bio
A short description about yourself that appears on your profile.
Location
City and country information to help users find local events and connections.
Website
A link to your personal or business website.
Social Media Links
Connect your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts.
Contact Information
Public email and phone number for event inquiries.
